IN PERSON with INSTRUCTOR ON ZOOM
Non-members may register after October 19 +$10; no early bird discount.
In this class, Allie will show you how to combine fabrics from your scraps to make a gorgeous art quilt using a raw-edge applique technique.
You will learn the entire process of design, layout, quilting, and finishing the quilt. This is an excellent scrap buster project, as it uses those smaller pieces of fabric that we save. Allie will help with fabric selection and how to identify color families in this course. Most of the seaglass quilts she makes shift from blue to green, but the joy of these quilts is that you can make them using any colors you want.
This is a hybrid workshop with participants gathered in person, and our presenter on Zoom. Allie will be with us on Zoom all day.
A list of supplies will be provided. You will need a sewing machine and a free motion foot for quilting. You can also use a walking foot for straightline quilting if you prefer.
Early Bird Discount $70 until November 2, $75 thereafter. Limit 15 participants.
